Located just under the south slope of the Acropolis Sacred Rock, the New Museum of Acropolis is fairly considered to be the Gem of Athens! A brand new museum that displays in a unique way the priceless sculptures and reliefs of the Acropolis.

The Museum is in fact an architecture monument itself;  created with glass, concrete and marble it is a contemporary building that respects both the Acropolis and the monuments that it hosts.  More than 4000 artifacts are presented in a way that allows visitors to view them from various vantage points.Visit the New Acropolis Museum before you visit Acropolis itself. You'll get a really good idea of what you'll see afterwards on the hill!
