While Greece is the country that born sports and the Olympic Games and since Athens hosted the first Modern Olympic Games and since Athens hosted the first Modern Olympic Games in 1896 and the Games of 2004, the city has a lot and historic Stadiums and Sport Halls.
Panathinaikon Stadium is the place where the first Modern Olympics were held, as well as the Open Ceremony of IAAF Athens World Athletics Championship in 1995 and the games of Ancestry and Marathon in the Olympic Games of 2004. Panathinaikon Stadium is always the finish place of the Athens Classical Marathon and the place where Athenians celebrate in great occasions – such as the welcoming the Euro 2004 Football Champion, Greek Team.
In OAKA, the Olympic Stadium of Athens, were held the Open and Closing Ceremonies of the ATHENS 2004 Olympic Games and many of the games. The Football Venue is the place where famous Greek teams, such as Panathinaikos and AEK Athens. Olympiacos FC hosting Stadium is Yeoryios Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus.
