Greek nights is a nice way to entertain you in summer for tourists and Greeks as well, while it is one of the best options for family entertainment, due to the fact that you can combine your dinner with nice live music and dance.
Of course it is possible to have a Greek Night in winter too, but especially in summer it is one of the best things to do. Bouzouki, guitar and maybe violin are the basic instruments that you will see in a Greek traditional music group.
You will eat, drink and dance listening to the popular Greek music, folk songs, Zorba style dancing music and of course melodies from the Greek islands.
In Athens a nice place to join a Greek Night (thought it is a bit touristy) is at Mnisikleous Str., Plaka, under the rock of Acropolis. Drink your ouzo or your retsina and have fun!
